ET515 Semi Flexible Epoxy Adhesive

Permabond ET515 is a two-part, semi-flexible, clear epoxy structural adhesive offering good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates includes wood, metal, ceramics, composites and some plastics.

ET515 is relatively quick curing, reaching handling strength in 20-30minutes. Its semi-flexible property at full cure makes it suitable for use in applications where the bond-line will be subjected to an amount of flexing or movement, including when bonding different materials where different rates of thermal expansion are anticipated.

ET515 is not particularly thixotropic and so is not suitable for gap filling more than 2mm.

Pack Sizes and Dispensing

ET500 is available in 50ml or 400ml pack sizes which can be selected at the top of the page. Both pack sizes use 1:1 ratio cartridges and require a suitable cartridge dispenser gun.

• 50ml packs require our standard 50ml Adhesive Dispenser Gun which is suitable for 1:1 and 2:1 adhesive cartridges
• 400ml packs require a 400ml 1:1 Adhesive Dispenser Gun

The cartridges are intended to be used with static mixer nozzles which fully mix the two components as they pass through the nozzle. They are supplied with one nozzle but once used, adhesive cures in the nozzle and they need to be discarded. Additional nozzles are available to buy separately:

• 50ml packs require a Type 2 Static Mixer Nozzle for 50ml Cartridge
• 400ml packs require a Type 2 Static Mizer Nozzle for 400ml Cartridge
