35g Glass Surface Tissue (1000mm)

Highest quality, ultra-fine 35g/m2 +-5g glass surface tissue/veil with a soluble emulsion binder and enhanced surface integrity for hand-layup processes.

This super-fine surface tissue can be used as the first layer of reinforcement onto a gel coat as a 'print blocker' to prevent print-through of the heavier chopped strand mat reinforcement. The tissue can also be used to leave a smoother more attractive surface finish on hand-layup composite parts by using it as the final layer on the reinforcement.

The emulsion binder is designed to be soluble in polyester and vinylester resin but given the very light weight of the cloth, this tissue can also be used, albeit slightly less satisfactorily, with epoxy resin when necessary.

How to Buy

This glass tissue roll is 1m (39") wide and the tissue is sold by the linear metre. The unit price shown is for 1 linear metre, volume discounts automatically apply for larger quantities of tissue.

Please purchase the number of linear metres you require. When purchasing multiple metres, for shorter lengths, the tissue will be supplied folded to keep package size and hence shipping costs down. If you need your fabric on a roll for a specific application then please contact us and we will be more than happy to supply it that way. When purchasing by the linear metre, especially in longer lengths, we will sometimes join the fabric to avoid waste.

A minimum order quantity of 3m applies to this product.
